EXCELLENT Based on 4 reviews Posted on Google Holly H.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’ve known Marc personally for several years and have had the opportunity to work with him in a consultative, professional capacity during a couple of my major life decisions. What stood out to me immediately — and has remained consistent — is the way he shows up with genuine presence, humility, and care. He was generous with his time, especially during moments when clarity truly mattered to me, and that alone spoke volumes. Marc has an exceptional ability to listen without judgment or personal agenda. He creates a space that feels calm, safe, and grounded, and through his thoughtful reflections, he helped me see things I couldn’t quite see on my own. Rather than telling me what to do, he mirrored insight back to me in a way that allowed me to arrive at my own decisions — decisions I walked away from feeling whole, confident, and deeply at peace with. He is kind, steady, and trustworthy, and I have great respect for his integrity and the way he supports others. I feel completely confident referring someone to Marc, knowing they would be met with clarity, compassion, and genuine care.Posted on Google Colleen McCaffreyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Frequently Asked Questions
Do you accept insurance?
We do not accept insurance directly at Insightful Edge Therapy. We operate as a private-pay practice, which allows us to focus entirely on your needs without the limitations, paperwork, or constraints that insurance companies often impose.
Importantly, this also means we don’t need to “manufacture” a diagnosis for billing purposes. Insurance companies require a diagnosis to reimburse for treatment, which often forces therapists to label you with a disorder whether it accurately reflects your experience or not. We treat you, the whole person navigating life’s complexities, not a set of diagnostic symptoms required to satisfy billing requirements.
This approach gives us the freedom to work with you on your terms, focusing on growth, clarity, and wellness rather than fitting your experience into predetermined categories.
However, if you have out-of-network benefits through your insurance, we can provide you with a superbill (a detailed receipt) that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. We’re happy to help you understand how to navigate that process.
For those seeking therapy through insurance, we maintain a list of resources and referrals that may be helpful
What happens in the first session?
Your first session is about getting to know each other and determining if we’re a good fit. We’ll discuss what brings you to therapy, explore your story and context, clarify how therapy works and what to expect, and talk openly about whether this feels like a good match. There’s no pressure, you’re in control of what you share and at what pace.
